USPA NEWS - President Emmanuel Macron gave a statement and condolences to the British people following the London terrorist attack that killed seven public people and forty eight injured. Three men armed with a van and knives went on a terrorist attack in a bustling area of the British capital on Saturday night, at 22h08 pm.----------------------------------------------------------------------
Among the victims killed, a Frenchman 27-year-old from Saint-Malo in Brittany who was working in the Boro Bistro near the site of the assault, French media reported. He died after he was stabbed in the neck by one of the attackers who burst into the restaurant and started slashing customers and staff, according to an account that has emerged in the French media. Seven other French citizen reportedly suffered serious injuries to her legs when when she was hit by the van on London Bridge. There are about 200,000 French people residing in London. One other French citizen is still reportedly missing (According to The Telegraph and French Ministry of Foreign Affairs)

Mr Emmanuel MACRON, President of the Republic, addresses to the victims, their families and loved ones, his most sincere thoughts at this painful moment. He addresses the solidarity of France to the British people, who will continue to fight terrorism alongside the United Kingdom and all the countries concerned. French citizens are among the victims. France is making every effort to assist them. This Sunday is also held the first round of the legislative elections for our fellow citizens residing abroad. In conjunction with the British authorities, security measures will be strengthened in London so that civic mobilization can show the strength of democracy against the enemies of freedom.
