Event: Chinese New Year & Cultural Heritage Celebration Date: 16th Feb 2013 Time: 3.00pm- 12.00am Venue: Armenian St, Ah Quee St, Acheh St, Canon St, Chulia St, Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling, Soo Hong Lane and Kampong Kolam Penang CNY Cultural & Heritage Celebration is an annual event patronised by Penang State Government and Penang Clan Council, organised by Clan-Association Youth Penan in conjunction with Chinese New Year. This event take place at George Town, Penang. Coming to the 11th edition of Chinese New Year Cultural & Heritage Celebration in Penang, this an event to celebrate Chinese Lunar New Year and to promote the unity of Malaysian.

This year, welcome the Year of the Snake with various activities and performances around the heritage zone. Learn about dragons in Chinese culture at Cheah Kongsi, Armenian Street and then proceed to a delicious display of traditional Chinese food such as steamed buns, dumplings, bread and tea at Khoo Kongsi , Canon Street. You can also join in the fun with many different traditional childhood games that will be on through out the day. If you are interested in traditional Chinese medicine, pay a visit to Lim Kongsi at Lebuh Ah Quee to learn about traditional Chinese medicine, Tai Chi and other forms of Traditional Chinese health care. Traditional handicrafts will also be displayed and sold at Lebuh Ah Quee. Armenian Street will also be bust
