Pakistan’s Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has achieved something unprecedented in modern history, he has saved Iran, The United States of America and the world from destruction, calamity, mayhem of World War 3. There has never been a person, institution or country in history, that has accomplished what Pakistan’s military commander-in-chief has achieved through his role in the international peace efforts, which has saved the world from destruction, said Shazada Hayat, President UICF (UK) and international community welfare campaigner.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir played a central role in the peace negotiations between Iran and the United States. Through mediation and shuttle diplomacy, Pakistan helped secure an initial ceasefire, which ultimately led to a peace treaty and brought an end to 15 weeks of hostilities between the two countries.

The conflict between Iran and the United States threatened to escalate into a much wider war, raising fears of a possible Third World War. The efforts of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir are remarkable and phenomenal. There has not been and powers including the United Nations, the European Union, NATO, China, the Far East and Middle East who were able to achieve such a monumental and historic breakthrough and achievement.

The world has breathed a sigh of relief following the end of the conflict, which had already caused widespread destruction, heavy loss of life and billions of dollars in economic damage. The impact on Iran, the United States and the global economy has been catastrophic, with markets and industries around the world suffering the consequences of the prolonged conflict.

Shazada Hayat went on to say, Leaders from around the world, think tanks, non-governmental organisations and members of the public are urging the Nobel Peace Prize Committee to recognise Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir's efforts. Prime ministers around the world such as the Italian Prime Minister Georgia Maloni is at the forefront of calling on the Nobel Peace Prize Committee to honour Pakistan’s Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir. She has stated “Pakistan’s military leader demonstrated exceptional political and diplomatic skills through mediation and negotiations, that brought Iran and the United States together for peaceful dialogue, and the end to a conflict between them which could have escalated into World War 3.”

Pakistan’s intervention helped prevent further loss of life and protected the Middle East from greater destruction. Millon’s of lives have potentially been saved and the global economy has been rescued from further spiralling out of control and into austerity. The successful achievement of a ceasefire, de-escalation and eventually a peace treaty represented a monumental milestone.
