Canadian Forces Snowbirds Will Perform In Halifax

USPA NEWS - MCpl Matthew MacKenzie said, "We're thrilled to announce that we will be performing in Halifax, on July 1st for Canada Day!
The team is excited to return to Nova Scotia after 3 years for this important event."
This week the Canadian Forces Snowbirds announced that they will be doing a full aerobatic display over the Halifax Harbour on July 1st, 2023. The last full performance by the Snowbirds in Nova Scotia was the "Snowbirds Over Debert" ,a mid week air show in June of 2019. Aviation enthusiasts throughout the region are extatic and counting down the days to what is sure to be an epic display of skill and amazement which will help Haligonians celebrate Canada's 156th birthday.
The Canadian Forces Snowbirds 431 Squadron is the military's air demonstration team whose mandate is to demonstrate the skill, training and team spirit of its's members. The Squadron is based in Saskatchewan at 15 Wing CFB Moose Jaw. The Snowbirds consist of a fleet of the Tudor CT-114 aircraft. For more than 5 decades, the Snowbirds have thrilled fans with jaw dropping and heart pounding performances. They have become a true Canadian icon and the pride of a nation.
For anyone unable to make it to Halifax for the performance on Canada Day, the Snowbirds will be making appearances throughout the Atlantic region in June and July. For detailed schedule information follow the Snowbirds on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
