With a certification 'Family Destination' (January 2016, Label from Fédération Suisse du Tourisme), CRANS-MONTANA is definitely an ideal place to spend great holidays, where young and old will find what they are looking for amongst the many activities on offer year-round. Welcoming the youngest family members, both in winter and summer, with plenty of entertainmt, games and laughter. In winter, the Golf Course is transformed into an Island of leisure activities, whilst in summer, visitors can fully enjoy all the family activities at the lakeside.

- For Families, the following are some of the distractions :

* La 'Maison de Bibi', the house of Crans-Montana's famous Marmot Mascot. Bibi welcomes children of all ages to his home, which is situated on the golf course throughout the winter. They can take part in numerous activities and entertainments.

* Adventure park in the trees, games and fun for the whole family, in a magical setting on Lac de la Moubre. 5 courses : Bibi, Junior, Discovery, Fun und Diabolo.

* Snow Island : Snowtubing, Sledging, Flying Fox, Slide, Swings.

* Treasure Hunt : Bibi has hidden his Treasure in Crans-Montana. To help to find it, he has created a fun Treasure hunt with different games and clues.

* The Ycoor Ice Rink is one of the largest Outdoor Ice areas in Switzerland. This wonderful area, located in the centre of the Resort.

* The Crans-Montana Climbing Wall is located in the Moubra Tennis Centre. It has a 500m2 wall and a 100m2 Boulder Area.

* A superb Indoor Curling Hall is just next to the Café d'Ycoor. The 3 lanes have extraordinary ice, which according to experts, is wonderful for curling. For those who are experienced, it's a pleasure. For those who want to try the sport, they can enjoy introductory lessons.

* The Crans Montana Bike Park, with its two different downhill runs and a vertical drop of 765 meters, offers runs for every taste (Black slope Chetseron, Red slopes Mont-Lachaux)

* Riding : Introductory lessons, group lessons, private lessons, Hacks, Shetlands, Pony rides.

* Jardins des Neiges (Ski kindergarten at Arnouva) - Area with numerous activities for Children and Adults)

- The 'Wintergolf Cup (02-02-2017 - 05-02-2017) was cancellend this year when the Organizing Committee of the Winter Golf Cup met on the course, just before the beginning of the Competition, to assess the feasibility of the event, heavy rain and the current high temperatures completely changing the Course conditions. Furthermore, the bad weather forecast over the following four days (wind, rain and snow) was making it very difficult to keep good playing conditions. So, taking into account all this factors, the Committee decided, reasonably to cancel the week-end's Competition.

Anyway, after this sad cancellation, the Organizing Committee of the Winter Golf Cup maintained an alternative activity for the disappointed Guests who practiced on the Course in the presence of President Pascal SCHMALEN and the French Organizers from Megève (January 19-22, 2017). Also a friendly Swiss Raclette with typical local products was offered to them.
