USPA NEWS - Audrey Azoulay, Minister of Culture and Communication, announces, in agreement with Gérard Collomb, senator-mayor of Lyon and president of the Metropole of Lyon, the appointment of Aline Sam-Giao as director general of the National Orchestra of Lyon and the Auditorium Maurice Ravel.

Audrey Azoulay, Minister of Culture and Communication, announces, in agreement with Gérard Collomb, senator-mayor of Lyon and president of the Metropole of Lyon, the appointment of Aline Sam-Giao as director general of the National Orchestra of Lyon and the Auditorium Maurice Ravel. Her project is based on the search for artistic excellence, the openness to the diversity of audiences of music and the most varied aesthetics. It aims to focus on dynamism and innovation so that the institution continues to be an international reference and contributes to the attractiveness of Lyon. She will continue the work of broadcasting and animating musical life alongside other institutions and festivals in Lyon.---------------------------------------- Since 2008, Aline Sam-Giao has been conducting the Orchester des Pays de Savoie, having accompanied the baroque ensemble "Le poème harmonique" and collaborated on the project of the Fondation Royaumont and the Festival Berlioz.
