Before the convening of the two emergency summits of Mecca (Gulf & Arab) which preceded the fourteenth session of the OIC Islamic Summit,
People in the Gulf were wondering if all GCC countries will participate, given the tensed atmosphere between Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, on one hand, and Qatar on the other hand, since the beginning of the crisis in June 2017. Since then, hopes have been pinned on His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad for his diplomatic wisdom and great appreciation. He worked hard to bring the views closer on more than one occasion.
Mecca, the land of revelation that safe town (Lord, make this country safe) was launched on its pure spot, Gulf Extraordinary Summit where His Highness chaired the Kuwaiti delegation to participate there, and asked through the High uttered in front of his brothers Majesties and Highnesses to put an end to the dispute which caused a rift for the unity of the Gulf situation, asking them to overcome what disturbs the unity and to ignore differences, for his belief that the differences of long-term, would affect the Gulf cohesion and nations are affected by the threat felt deeply by His Highness which will threaten the stability of the region, he confirms this again at the extraordinary Arab summit that followed the Gulf summit before Arab leaders and emphasizes the first cause that is the Palestinian issue by giving priority to the peace process through dialogue and wisdom.
Prince of Peace in his last three speeches during various summits expressed clearly for unification, unity, peace among nations, and transcend the differences, his speeches were directed to the reality we live in the Gulf in light of the dangers surrounding us and threaten our stability, until the moment waited by everyone came, when His Highness the Emir asked the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Qatar Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al Thani to salute and shake hands with his brother King Salman bin Abdul Aziz to begin with the real detente of the Gulf crisis led by the leader of humanity and (Prince of Peace ..
