USPA NEWS - Police kill 26 year old Jemel Robinson a security guard at Manny's Blue Room Bar in the Chicago area on November 11.
A Midlothian police officer shot J.Roberson a armed security guard at a bar in Illonis.Mr.Roberson tried to intervene during a shooting outside the bar and subdue a suspect but unfortunately he became a victim of a shooting himself. A Officer who's name was not released saw the security guard with the gun and took upon himself to shoot the 26 year old.The city is in a uproar about this incident and wants the police department to reevaluate its training. Some see this as a level of incompetence on the officers part.Midlothian police chief Daniel Delaney says he is saddened by the ordeal.It has been asserted that Jemel wanted to become a police officer himself.A Federal lawsuit has been filed on behalf of Jemel Roberson. The lawsuit contends that some patrons shot the bartender and others.Family attorney Gregory Kulis says that Roberson's Mother just wants to know what happened. The police report claims there were no markings on Roberson's clothing to identify him as a security guard.The incident happened around 4am,when the police arrived Roberson was in the parking lot trying to subdue the alleged suspect. The police also alleged that Jemel was given multiple warnings .
