"These two challenges by the regime of the DPRK to the international legality in the space of a month pose a serious threat to peace and international security and stability in the Korean peninsula and throughout the region," according to the Spanish Government. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs moved the ambassador determined to Spain, a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council and as chairman of the 1718 Committee on sanctions against the DPRK, to work with the international community in safeguarding of international law, in compliance with the relevant resolutions of the Security Council and the effective implementation of international non-proliferation regime.
