FLAG RAISING OVER CITY HALL
FRIDAY, JUNE 5 AT 12 NOON.
Mayor Martin J. Walsh invites you to the Boston Pride Official Kick off Event as we raise the Rainbow flag over Boston City Hall. Please come and show your pride!

Gay Pride Month (June) is a time to reflect upon the Stonewall Inn Riots (New York 1969) which pioneered the first Gay Pride Parade after a victory was won for Equality. This is a time to reflect upon all the history and progress of the LGBT community through the hard work and dedication of many organizations and grass roots efforts. Currently, Massachusetts is the only state with full equal rights for gay people on the state level. Federal equality for all is imperative, so we must fight for a better and brighter tomorrow!!!
Boston Pride Week 2015 goes from June 5th until June 14. Boston Pride week is kicked off by the Flag Raising (Noon, June 5th, Boston City Hall) and goes through the fun filled Boston Pride Parade (Noon, June 13th, From Copley Square to Boston City Hall Plaza.) Come one. Come all. Bring all your family and friends to the many fun filled events. See [ http://www.bostonpride.org/calendar/ ] for full details.
