USPA NEWS - Conservative Party Spring Forum & National Convention AGM 2014 - Securing Britain's Future with a plan that builds a stronger, more competitive economy a better future , and secure a better future for Britain.

Opening the spring forum was Emma Pidding CBE, Chairman of the National Conservative Convention. Prime Minister David Cameron gave a speech to the party faithful followed by a rallying call by Ian Duncan Smith the Secretary of State & pensions. There was a general meeting of the National Conservative Convention with an annual report to delegates. Syed Kamell, leader of the Conservatives in the European Parliament gave a speech. Stephen Gilbert & Lynton Crosby held a Q&A with the conference. There was a chance to meet the Chairman Lord Feldman & Grant Shapps MP for more questions & answers. The RT HON Theresa May, Home Secretary gave a excellent speech on home affairs. The conference ended with a speech by the RT HON Eric Pickles.
The Conservative Party long-term economic plan builds a stronger, more competitive economy and secures a better future for Britain by:

1. Reducing the deficit so we deal with our debts, safeguard our economy for the long term and keep mortgage rates low

2. Cutting income taxes and freezing fuel duty to help hardworking people be more financially secure

3. Creating more jobs by backing small business and enterprise with better infrastructure and lower jobs taxes

4. Capping welfare and reducing immigration so our economy delivers for people who want to work hard and play by the rules

5. Delivering the best schools and skills for young people so the next generation can succeed in the global race
