The Fourth Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation Gala will be held on July 26, in Saint-Tropez (France). Established in 1998, Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation draws attention to the Environmental Issues and funds Effective Environmental Protection Projects all over the World. So, his incredible 3-meters´ long 'live' Tiger '6/9' Piece was already named the First Art-Lot of the Forthcoming Auction this Summer. Drawing on his Architect´s Experience Vasily Klyukin was able to develop a Unique Technique that allows to Assemble and Disassemble the Work of Art without using any kinds of Fastening Mechanisms. Each and every Art-Piece is a Set of Metal Plates that once assembled take up a Pre-defined Shape. There is no Casting, Wielding or even Bolts in his Art-Pieces (i.e. no additional fastening at all). Each Metal Plate has cut-out Slots therefore the next Metal Plate fits into it. The width of the Slots is a result of precise calculation, and all slots taken together make up the Carrying Axle.
The Sculptures are called 'live' in particular because even when fully assembled most of its Elements remain fully moving Components. The featured 3-meters´ long Tiger is a Chrome Plated Sculpture made up of Black and Gold Mirror Steel Plates. Looking from above the Sculpture seems as if it were a Sun-Shaped Transparent Structure, meanwhile the Metal Sheets make up an incredibly beautiful Tiger looking sidewise, a game of Shadows and Reflections.

The name of the Art-Piece '6/9' references the fact that only 6 out of 9 Tiger Species remained unextinct. The Designer explains that three Species of Tigers were completely exterminated by Man, two of which in the last 50 years. Tigers are at the Top of the Food Chain and their Extinction is leading to the Global Problems in the Entire Wildlife.

Unlike Human Beings, Nature dies in Silence. I have four Children and I care about the Future. I respect People that spend their priceless Time protecting the Environment and I want to support them' - Vasily Klyukin is quoted as saying.
Vasily Klyukin supports Various Charities and on the 400th Anniversary of the Romanov Dynasty by Duchess Maria Alexandrovna, he was awarded a Medal for his Regular Participation in Charitable Activities.
