Like many of the hundreds of other visitors, we made our way to the Belvedere Castle, located in the heart of the park. Along the way, we captured many of the lovely sights. A hike through the Rambles, to the Bethesda Fountain, there were beautiful subjects to photograph. Perhaps the most enjoyable experience was witnessing others taking in the beauty that the greenery and flowers had to offer. You couldn't help but be infused with a sense of peace and tranquility surrounded by so much natural bounty.

After leaving the castle, and a stroll through the Rambles, we came upon another park favorite: the Bow Bridge, an elegant structure, and probably one of the most photographed subjects of the park along with the Belvedere and the Bethesda Fountain. However, getting a clear shot of the bridge in mid-afternoon can present quite a challenge for the scores of admirers, also looking for that great capture to add to their personal photo archives.

Central park boasts many a picturesque pond. Shown here is a lovely pond located toward the east side of the Belvedere Castle near the Great Lawn. Just around the corner south of the pond is the entrance to the Rambles that we used to hike towards the Bow Bridge and the Bethesda Fountain. This is probably one of the most efficient routes allowing park goers and hikers to catch a glimpse of some amazingly photogenic views that are found here plentiful. If landscape or nature photography is your interest, this is definitely a good route for you.
